Mortgage Estimator (com.devvratkalia.mortgageestimator)
Published by Dev_K · Effective 4 September 2026

This policy explains what Mortgage Estimator does with data. It is written to be read, not to be skimmed past. If anything here is unclear, email wekstuff@gmail.com and ask.

The short version. The app has no accounts and no sign-in. The numbers you type into the calculator stay on your device. The app does show ads, and advertising software inside the app collects device and advertising identifiers — that is the one place where data about you leaves your phone.

1. What stays on your device

Everything you enter to get an estimate — loan amount, interest rate, term, down payment, taxes, insurance, and any figures you save or revisit — is stored and calculated on your device. It is not uploaded to us, and we have no server that receives it. Uninstalling the app removes it.

We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, address, or any document. We do not operate accounts, so there is no profile of you to build.

2. Advertising (the data that does leave your device)

Mortgage Estimator shows banner, interstitial, and rewarded ads through Unity LevelPlay mediation with the Unity Ads network. To select and measure ads, that software collects information from your device whether or not you interact with an ad:

What is collectedWhy
Advertising identifier (Google Advertising ID on Android, IDFA on iOS)Ad selection, frequency capping, measurement, and cross-app tracking
Vendor / app-set identifierAd delivery and fraud prevention
Coarse device information — model, operating system version, language, network typeAd delivery and analytics
Ad interactions — impressions, clicks, rewarded-ad completionsAdvertising and analytics
Diagnostic and crash information from the ad softwareKeeping the ads component working

This information is shared with Unity and the ad networks it mediates, and it is used for tracking as the app stores define that term. It is not linked to your identity by us, because we do not hold one.

The app does not request your location, and no location data is passed to the ad networks.

Your controls

Unity's own privacy policy covers what it does with the data it collects: unity.com/legal/game-player-and-app-user-privacy-policy.

3. Subscriptions

Mortgage Estimator offers optional subscriptions (pro_monthly and pro_yearly). If you buy one, the purchase is handled entirely by Apple's App Store or Google Play. They process your payment and tell the app whether an active subscription exists — nothing more. We never see your card details, billing address, or store account.

Apple and Google handle that payment data under their own privacy policies, not this one.

4. What the app does not do

5. Children

Mortgage Estimator is a financial tool for adults. It is not directed to children, and it is not configured as a child-directed app. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 (or the equivalent age in your country). If you believe a child has used the app and want the associated advertising identifier addressed, contact us and we will help you reset it.

6. How long data is kept

Your calculator inputs live on your device until you delete them or uninstall the app. Data collected by the advertising software is retained by Unity and its mediated networks under their own retention schedules; we hold no copy of it.

7. Your rights

If you are in the EEA or UK (GDPR). The legal basis for advertising identifiers is your consent, which you give or refuse in the prompt described in section 2 and can withdraw at any time. Because we operate no accounts and no servers, we hold no personal data about you to access, correct, export, or erase — a request to us about advertising data will be pointed to Unity, the party that holds it. You may also complain to your national data protection authority.

If you are in California (CCPA/CPRA) or a similar US state. We do not sell personal information for money. Sharing an advertising identifier for targeted advertising may count as a "sale" or "share" under some state laws; you can stop it by turning off tracking (iOS) or resetting/deleting your advertising ID (Android), as described above. We do not discriminate against anyone who exercises these rights.

To ask anything about your rights, email wekstuff@gmail.com.

8. Security

Because your figures never leave your device, their security rests on your device's own protections — a passcode, biometrics, and current software updates are the effective safeguards here. Traffic between the app and the ad networks uses encrypted connections.

9. International transfers

The advertising partners described in section 2 operate globally, so the identifiers they collect may be processed outside your country, including in the United States. Those transfers are made by those companies under their own safeguards.

10. Changes to this policy

If the app's data practices change — for example if analytics are added or ads are removed — this page is updated and the effective date at the top changes. Material changes will also be noted in the app's store listing release notes.
