Backform (com.devvratkalia.lowerbackpainreliefstrengtheningexercises)
Published by Dev_K · Effective 17 October 2026

This policy explains what Backform does with data. It is written to be read, not to be skimmed past. If anything here is unclear, email wekstuff@gmail.com and ask.

The short version. The app has no accounts and no sign-in. Your pain ratings, mobility check-ins, workout history and reminder settings are stored only on your device. We have no server that receives them. The app does not show ads, and it contains no analytics or tracking. The only outside parties involved are Apple and Google, when you buy a subscription or leave a review.

1. What stays on your device

To build your 30-day plan and your progress reports, the app saves the following on your device only:

What is storedWhy
Onboarding answers: current pain level (0–10), how long you have had back pain, activity level, and your day-0 mobility scoreRecommending a starting level (Beginner, Intermediate or Advanced) and giving you a baseline to measure against
Workout history: your level, the days you completed, sets done, and session datesYour plan progress, streak, consistency calendar, and adherence report
Routines you build: the exercises, reps, holds, rests, reminder times and any notes you addPlaying your own routines and reminding you of them
Pain ratings after sessions and repeat mobility check-insYour pain-trend and mobility-improvement reports
Preferences: theme, session sound, reminder time, and whether reminders are onMaking the app behave the way you set it
Subscription status as last reported by the App Store or Google PlayUnlocking Pro content without a network round-trip

Pain and mobility ratings are health information. You enter them yourself, and they are used only to show your own progress back to you. They are never uploaded, shared, sold or used for advertising, and they are not written to Apple Health or Google Health Connect.

We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, date of birth, or any document. We do not operate accounts, so there is no profile of you to build. Uninstalling the app deletes everything it stored. The app opts out of Android cloud backup, so this data is not copied to Google Drive. On iOS, the data may be included in your own encrypted iCloud or computer backup under your control.

2. Exercise demonstrations

The animated 3D exercise demonstrations are bundled inside the app and run offline. Watching them sends nothing anywhere.

3. Workout reminders

If you turn on the daily reminder in Settings, the app asks for permission to show notifications and schedules a local reminder on your device. The reminder is created and delivered by your phone's operating system. No push service, server, or device token is involved, and you can turn it off in the app or in your device settings at any time.

4. Subscriptions and purchases

The app offers optional Pro access: auto-renewing monthly and yearly subscriptions, and a one-time lifetime purchase. Purchases are handled entirely by Apple's App Store or Google Play. They process your payment and tell the app whether you have Pro access — nothing more. We never see your card details, billing address, or store account.

Apple and Google handle that payment data under their own privacy policies, not this one.

5. Ratings and reviews

The app may ask, at most occasionally, whether you would like to rate it. The rating sheet is shown by Apple or Google. Whatever you submit goes to them under their own terms. The app is not told what you rated.

6. Advertising

The app does not show ads and contains no advertising software. If a future version ever adds advertising, this policy will be updated before that version is released.

7. What the app does not do

8. Links that leave the app

Settings contains links to this policy, the Terms of Use and the store listing. Opening one takes you to your browser or app store, which handles the visit under its own policy.

9. Children

Backform is designed for adults. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 (or the equivalent age in your country). Because nothing a user enters leaves their device, we hold no information about any child. If you have questions, contact us.

10. How long data is kept

Everything described in section 1 stays on your device until you uninstall the app (or clear its data in your device settings). We keep no copy of it, so there is nothing to expire on our side.

11. Your rights

If you are in the EEA or UK (GDPR). Your health and fitness entries are processed only on your own device, for your own use. We do not receive them, so we hold no personal data about you to access, correct, export, or erase. You control and can erase all of it yourself by uninstalling the app. You may also complain to your national data protection authority.

If you are in California (CCPA/CPRA) or a similar US state. We do not sell or share personal information, and we do not use it for targeted advertising. We do not discriminate against anyone who exercises their rights.

Consumer health data laws (for example Washington's My Health My Data Act). We do not collect, share or sell consumer health data. Your pain and mobility entries never leave your device.

To ask anything about your rights, email wekstuff@gmail.com.

12. Security

Because your entries never leave your device, their security rests on your device's own protections. A passcode, biometrics, and current software updates are the safeguards that matter here. Connections the app makes to the App Store or Google Play are encrypted by those stores.

13. Changes to this policy

If the app's data practices change — for example if ads, analytics or accounts are added — this page is updated before the change ships and the effective date at the top changes. Material changes will also be noted in the app's store release notes.
