These terms are the agreement between you and Dev_K ("we", "us") for use of the Backform mobile app. Installing or using the app means you accept them. If you don't, please don't use the app.
The app gives you structured 30-day exercise plans at three levels (Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced) for strengthening and mobilising the lower back and core. It includes animated exercise demonstrations with written instructions, rest and set guidance, optional daily reminders, and reports built from the pain and mobility ratings you enter. All of it runs on your device.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, for your own purposes. You may not copy, sell, rent, sublicense, decompile, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract the source code or animations of the app, except where the law says you may regardless of this term. You may not remove branding or use the app's content to build a competing product.
Some content is free. Other content (such as later days of the plans, the Intermediate and Advanced levels, and full reports) requires Pro. What is included in each tier is described in the app and may change over time.
Pro is available as an auto-renewing monthly subscription, an auto-renewing yearly subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase. Current prices are shown in the app before you confirm, in your local currency.
Don't use the app unlawfully, don't attempt to break or circumvent its purchase system, don't distribute modified versions, and don't use it in a way that harms other people.
The app, its design, exercise animations, text and other content are owned by Dev_K and its licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. These terms give you a licence to use the app, not ownership of it. The ratings and notes you enter are yours.
How the app handles data is described in the Privacy Policy. In short, your entries stay on your device.
We may update, change, or discontinue the app or any feature at any time. We aim to keep it working, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted availability. App store or operating system changes outside our control may also affect it. Because your progress is stored only on your device, it can be lost if you uninstall the app, reset or lose your device. We cannot recover it.
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that any exercise plan will reduce your pain, improve your mobility, or suit your condition. Some places don't allow these exclusions, in which case they apply to you only as far as the law permits.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. We are also not liable for injury, aggravation of a condition, or other loss arising from exercises you choose to perform or from decisions you make using the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the twelve months before the claim, or the equivalent of USD 50, whichever is greater. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
If you are a consumer, you have rights under the law of your country that these terms cannot take away. Nothing here affects them.
You may stop using the app and delete it at any time. We may suspend or end your licence if you materially breach these terms. Sections 2, 3, 8, 11 and 12 survive termination.
These terms are between you and Dev_K, not with Apple or Google. Apple and Google are not responsible for the app or its content, and they have no obligation to provide maintenance, support, or handle claims about it. Where the app is obtained from the App Store, Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them. Your use is also subject to the applicable store's own terms.
App Store users: if you download the app from the App Store, your licence to use it is also governed by Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA). These terms add to the EULA. Where the two conflict, the EULA prevails as to your licence to use the app.
We may revise these terms. The effective date at the top will change, and continuing to use the app after a revision means you accept it. If a change materially reduces your rights, we will make it visible in the app or in the release notes.
