Terms of Use

RF Fresnel Calculator (com.devvratkalia.rffresnelcalculator)
Publisher: Dev_K · Effective date: 20 August 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Dev_K ("we", "us") for the RF Fresnel Calculator mobile app. By installing or using the app, you accept them. If you do not accept them, please uninstall the app.

1. What the app does

RF Fresnel Calculator computes Fresnel zone radii, line-of-sight clearance, earth-curvature allowance, free-space path loss, and related RF link-planning figures from the values you enter. All calculations run on your device.

Engineering disclaimer — please read. The app is a planning aid, not a substitute for a professional site survey, a certified link budget, a structural assessment, or compliance with radio-spectrum and RF-exposure regulations. Results depend entirely on the inputs you supply and on simplified propagation models that ignore real-world factors such as terrain detail, foliage, weather, multipath, interference, and antenna pattern. Verify every result independently before you rely on it to site a mast, aim an antenna, transmit, climb a structure, or sign off a design.

2. Licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, for your own professional or personal purposes, in line with the App Store or Google Play terms that apply to your download. We keep all other rights.

3. What you may not do

4. Ads in the free version

The free version displays banner, interstitial, and rewarded ads served through Unity LevelPlay mediation with Unity Ads. Ad content comes from third parties; we do not create it, endorse it, or control it. Rewarded ads are optional — you choose whether to watch one in exchange for a reward. What the ad SDK collects is set out in our Privacy Policy.

5. Pro subscriptions

The app offers optional auto-renewing subscriptions: Pro Monthly (pro_monthly) and Pro Yearly (pro_yearly). Pro removes ads and unlocks Pro features.

6. Your data

Your calculations and settings stay on your device; we do not host an account for you and hold no copy. Deleting the app deletes that data. See the Privacy Policy for the full picture, including what the ad SDK collects.

7. Availability and updates

We may update, change, or discontinue the app or any feature at any time. Updates may be required for the app to keep working. We do not promise the app will be available without interruption or free of errors.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent the law allows, the app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind — express or implied — including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of results, merchantability, and non-infringement. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you; nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived by contract.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, equipment damage, installation costs, regulatory penalties, or business interruption arising from your use of the app or reliance on its results. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 25, whichever is greater. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Dev_K against claims arising from your use of the app in breach of these terms or of applicable law.

11. Apple and Google

These terms are between you and Dev_K only, not with Apple or Google. Apple and Google are not responsible for the app or its content, have no obligation to provide support or maintenance for it, and are not responsible for addressing any claim you have relating to it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

12. Termination

This licence ends if you stop using the app or if you materially breach these terms. Sections 8 through 14 survive termination. Ending the licence does not by itself cancel a store subscription — cancel that through your store account.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The effective date at the top shows the current version, and material changes will be flagged in the app or on this page. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the courts of India have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer in another country, you keep the protections of the mandatory consumer law of the place where you live, and you may bring proceedings there.

``` Two notes on judgment calls I made, both easy to change: - **Location and AI are declared as not collected.** Your facts list omits both, and the matrix treats them as opt-in rows. If the build actually enables coarse location for ads or any AI provider, §3 and §2 of the privacy policy need the corresponding rows added — those are the two places the policy would otherwise be a false declaration. - **Governing law is set to India** and liability is capped at USD 25 in §9 of the terms. Both are placeholders keyed to the publisher; swap them if your jurisdiction differs. The internal links use `privacy.html` for the cross-reference — rename if you host the privacy page at a different path.
