Mealy Terms of Use
Effective date: 14 October 2026
These terms cover your use of Mealy (shown on your device as "What Should I Cook?"), a meal-planning app made by Devvrat Kalia. If you got Mealy from the App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.
The app
- Mealy suggests what to cook, how to cook it and what to buy. Its recipes, nutrition figures and quantities are guidance, not professional dietary or medical advice.
- Nutrition values are estimates per serving. If you cook to a medical requirement, check the ingredients yourself.
- Allergy and dislike settings filter the dishes Mealy suggests. They are a convenience, not a safety guarantee: always read the ingredients of a dish before cooking it for someone with an allergy.
Free and Pro
- Mealy is free, and the free version is paid for by advertising.
- Mealy Pro removes the ads and the free version's weekly limits. It is a subscription, billed by the store you bought it from. It renews automatically each period at the price shown when you subscribed, until you cancel. You can cancel at any time in your store account's subscription settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
- Refunds are handled by the store you bought through, under its own policy.
Your content
Recipes and household details you enter stay on your device. You own them.
Acceptable use
Don't attempt to break, resell or redistribute the app or its recipe data.
Liability
The app is provided as is, without warranty. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from its use, including a meal that didn't turn out.
Changes
These terms may change as the app changes. The current version is always at this address, with its effective date.
